To all members:

I am very sorry to report the death of Eric Holmes on the weekend of 26th August.  He had been ill for some time, with several lengthy terms in hospital.  Eric, his late wife Pat, and his brother Cyril, were all members and staunch supporters of the Association, and Eric was our Treasurer for many years, and a good friend to all our members.  In recent years, though unable to attend evening meetings, he generously hosted committee meetings in his own home.  Our sympathy is extended to Eric's daughters Gillian & Jenny and his grandsons, and to Cyril.  Eric's funeral, when we hope a good number of MOA members will be present, has been arranged for Saturday, 23rd September, at St Wilfrid's Church Northenden, at 11.00 a.m.

In due course, Gillian and Jenny would be glad to know of any member who can find a home for Eric's home organ (an extension pipe organ of two manuals and pedals)
