Further to a previous notice, I can now confirm that Eric Holmes house organ was moved to the music suite at Cheadle Hulme School on 22nd & 23rd February, where it will mainly be used for teaching and practice purposes.  It is intended that a public concert to inaugurate the organ in its new setting will be organised soon (see Syllabus page).

The Scott Brothers Duo have re-mastered a number of their you-tube clips and put them on DVD. Organ solos, organ & piano, piano duets, piano & harmonium and harmonium solo.
Music by Albeniz, J S Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, Guilmant, Liszt, Rossini and Saint-Saens.
Organs featured: The Bridgewater Hall (Manchester), Albion U.R.C. (Ashton-under-Lyne) and Bolton Parish Church.

Bolton Parish Church


This town centre church with a fine choral tradition and cathedral style repertoire is offering a small number of Choral Scholarships aimed at school age pupils (male or female) ideally in years 11 to 13, to the value of £500 per annum.


Similarly, an Organ Scholarship for a suitably experienced player in the same age range is being offered at £1000 per annum.
