Further to a previous notice, I can now confirm that Eric Holmes house organ was moved to the music suite at Cheadle Hulme School on 22nd & 23rd February, where it will mainly be used for teaching and practice purposes.

A history of "The Organs of Bolton Parish Church" (by our web-master) was published in 2015 and was very favourably reviewed in the Organ Club magazine.  It is available at Association meetings and recitals at Bolton Parish Church for £3.50.  (or £4.75 including postage from the webmaster: phone or email for details) 

The Scott Brothers Duo have re-mastered a number of their you-tube clips and put them on DVD. Organ solos, organ & piano, piano duets, piano & harmonium and harmonium solo.
Music by Albeniz, J S Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, Guilmant, Liszt, Rossini and Saint-Saens.
Organs featured: The Bridgewater Hall (Manchester), Albion U.R.C. (Ashton-under-Lyne) and Bolton Parish Church.

St Mary, Nether Alderley

Organist and Choirmaster/mistress required for the historic parish church of this rural community, and also at the daughter church of St Catherine, Birtles.

St Mary's has a two manual Hill organ recently completely overhauled and up-dated by Principal Pipe Organs of York.  The organ at Birtles is a two manual Conacher of 1909.
