To all members:
I am very sorry to have to record the death of Honorary Life Member Wilfrid Cross, at the age of 97. The funeral will be on Thursday 25th January at the new chapel, Southern Cemetery, on Barlow Moor Road at 1.30 p.m. Wilf's family will be glad to see any MOA members at the funeral. (This is the same day as our visit to Manchester Cathedral, but that is not until 6.30, so there should be plenty of time to attend both.)
Further to a previous notice, it now seems likely that Eric Holmes house organ will be going to Cheadle Hulme School early in the New Year, where it will mainly be used for teaching and practice purposes.
