Ashton-under-Lyne:  Albion United Reformed Church

There will be a recital on Sunday 7th July at 3.00 p.m. by Hans Uwe Heilscher (Organist of the Marktkirche, Wiesbaden).  Admission free; retiring collection.

This is part of Hans' recital tour in North-West England.  He gave a excellent and varied recital at Bolton Parish Church some years ago, and this event can be well-recommended.

Bolton Parish Church

This town centre church with a fine choral tradition and cathedral style repertoire is offering a small number of Choral Scholarships aimed at school age pupils (male or female) ideally in years 10 to 13, to the value of £500 per annum.

Senior and Junior Organ Scholars have now been appointed.
